Information on Our Web
How the years have flown by? Our original Web was in 1999 and was hand coded using a simple text editor. I eliminated using “Frame” script in all pages except in the HTML Reference section.
My main software tools were:
1) The Editor was TextEdit v1.4.
2) Graphics & Image Maps are designed in an application called Create v12.3.7.
3) Photos are sized down using GraphicConverter v4.9.
4) FTP upload of the site pages are sent by Transmit v3.2.
5) All applications are running under OS 10.4.2 Tiger.
Changes over the Years
1999 This web site was put up and was written in HTML v4.01. It was partially complete when launched. It continued to be a project for several years.
2003 Worked on a presentation for Family photos.
2005 I looked at the new CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) standards for Web pages and updated this site to XHTML format.
2012 Minor fixes to this old web.
2015 The whole web was entered into a web app named “Sparkle” from Italy and the layout modified.
